杜宗军，教授，理学博士，博士生导师，山东大学（威海）海洋学院副院长。研究方向为海洋细菌分离培养技术及系统学研究、海洋微生物活性物质及酶学研究。山东省海洋微生物菌种保藏与应用工程技术研究中心主任，威海市海洋微生物技术重点实验室主任，兼任中国海洋学会海洋生物资源专业委员会常务委员、中国海洋湖沼学会微生物海洋学专委会委员、伯杰氏国际系统微生物学学会会员、中国微生物学会会员、山东省微生物学会理事。先后主持国家自然科学基金面上项目《海洋拟杆菌的多样性分析、分离鉴定及拟杆菌纲分类体系的整理与重构》、《新发现的慢生单胞菌目菌种资源挖掘、系统分类及其生态学特性研究》等多项课题，作为第一作者及通讯作者，在Microbiome、Int J Syst Evol Microbiol、Journal of Bacteriology、Antonie van Leeuwenhoek、Marine Genomics、Acta Oceanologica Sinica、Scientific Reports等国内外学术刊物上发表SCI收录论文110余篇。
